After two long days on the road we finally made it to the red cabin around 9pm Monday night! We decided to get there earlier than Travis' parents so we could run in and turn on the gas, open up the out house, etc, etc.

First off let me tell you that we got a warm welcome by a ton of mosquitos!  Secondly, we were able to get into the cabin but unable to do anything because we didn't have the right keys!! So we ended up waiting on  his parents anyway to open up the cabin!


We typically stay at the Loft lodge which is the property down the road (it has running water and electricity) but since we got here sooo late we ended up bunking with his parents! We hardly unpacked anything!

On Tuesday we spent a lot of time "opening" up the cabins and getting them ready to be lived in...meaning unpacking, cleaning, getting all the spiderwebs off of things.

On Wednesday we had more of a play day and we also went to town! We did the bulk of our grocery shopping and we also ate at Riverside Pizza! Yummy!

Thursday was a lot more cleaning and I did a lot of cooking! I love to cook here, nothing is rushed, we are not on a schedule, and pretty much our day revolves around eating yummy treats!

It is soo crazy how relaxed things are here but at the same time the day goes by soo fast. Anyhoo....I will get ya'll more up later and actually post more pics...but I don't want to sit around on the computer all day ;)!
